Artisan Stain and Seal Polyurethane

Because we know our Poly Varnish is so fabulous, our Stain and Seal has been reformulated with polyurethane resin. We have also bumped up the tints in Limewash, Driftwood, Fruitwood, Provincial and Walnut so building up colour is so easy. The tint level in Onyx has been halved so it is very user friendly and you can work up lovely grey/black shades with it. The other big change is that it is now in a Matte finish. You are going to love this! It is so easy to obtain that raw stripped back timber look, while knowing that your surface won't be marked over time. It is also so much easier to apply and streaks are nonexistent when applied with a damp sponge. Remember that like the Polyvarnish, this product can be diluted with up to 30% water for ease of application. I find that using a quite damp sponge is usually enough water, however for you can also mist the surface prior to application. (Should you require different sheen levels you can apply a coat of satin or gloss poly over the top, or even wax and buff)
