Artisan - Stripped Bare paint stripper

Stripped Bare takes all the hard work out of stripping paint! Our environmentally resposible, low odour fondant-like stripper is easy to apply on vertical and horizontal surfaces.  Safely removes water and oil based paints, varnishes, polyurethane, and lacquer.

Non caustic, low odour and with a neutral pH, our stripper complies with the most stringent of eco standards.   Stripped Bare safely removes oil and water based paint, varnish, lacquer, adhesives, glues, alkyds, latex, enamels,  epoxies, polyurethanes, lead based paint and  inorganic zinc and powder coatings.

Shake well before use. Apply a thick even coat  (2-3 mm) using a brush or roller. The gel formula makes stripping even vertical surfaces a breeze.  Stripped Bare will begin to work after 15-20 minutes as it penetrates into the paint and softens it. The time required for full penetration of the stripper into the painted surface will depend on the quality of the paint, the number of coats to be removed and the surrounding temperature.  Use in temperatures between 10 and 35 degrees Celsius. For dwell times longer than 20 minutes cover with plastic film to prevent drying out.  Can be left in place for up to 24hours when sealed with plastic film.

Stripped Bare will soften the paint so that it can be easily scraped off using a plastic scraper or scourer.  The paint will lift and peel in a gel like form that can be safely disposed of.

While Stripped Bare will remain wet for up to 24 hours under plastic film, should paint harden simply apply more Stripped Bare to reactivate.  If some paint remains after scraping, apply a second coat. To prevent damage on delicate timbers use a non-metallic scourer to remove paint. Wash surface with water or Easy Scrub to remove residue. Allow surfaces to dry thoroughly before redecorating
